US Signal Launches Technology Assessments To Help Organizations Plan For Effective IT Deployments And Benchmark Against Peers
Grand Rapids, Mich. – April 11, 2018 – US Signal, a leading end-to-end IT solutions provider, today announced the launch of its Technology Assessments. Designed to provide an objective, vendor-neutral analysis of a company’s IT resources, practices and processes, the Technology Assessments deliver an overview of a company’s technology-based strengths and weaknesses, while also benchmarking against same sector organizations. The assessments are carried out by a team of US Signal technology experts with extensive experience in IT service assessment and solution building.
The Technology Assessments begin with an open and frank workshop with key customer stakeholders. This enables US Signal experts to understand and assess an organization’s current IT resources and processes. In addition, the workshops enable US Signal experts to review a customer’s short- and long-term business and technology objectives and to map current and future technology assets to those objectives. A gap analysis is also conducted and a corresponding actionable roadmap produced to identify the technology and processes needed to best meet those goals.
US Signal’s Technology Assessments are available in three focus areas:
- Data Protection: Business recovery objectives, risk management, disaster recovery planning, disaster recovery practices, backup and restoration and data archival
- Information Security: Data governance, identity and access management, operational administration, organizational structure, risk management, physical security, control plane security and data plane security
- IT Benchmarking:Business planning, enterprise architecture, emerging technologies, infrastructure development and operations, application development, project management, IT finance, quality assurance, end-user support maintenance
“Our new Technology Assessments deliver critical insights in a convenient, time-saving and easily actionable format, helping businesses with their ‘heavy lifting’ before committing to future technology investments,” explained Paul Van Hyfte, executive vice president of sales at US Signal. “They ensure that best practices and corresponding processes are in place to help maximize future IT investment and get the most out of existing technology. There is no compulsion at the end of the process for organizations to purchase technology from us; they are free to seek alternatives for implementing recommendations. Our goal with this initiative is to help businesses understand their technology requirements and make the best investment choices for their future.”
